All my life I have loved Africa. The people, the weather, the scenery, and even the smells. Everything about Africa speaks to my soul. I started out as a child in the bush, swimming with hippos and crocodiles (not something I recommend my clients do), then became a single adventurer, and now I finally find myself with a husband and son who love safari as much as I do. I like to think my passion for Africa was contagious, but I think Africa herself gets the credit here.

For the past 25 years I have worked in the tourism and service industry, promoting Africa in every way possible. Through my job at Southern Destinations and African Safari Consultants, I have explored game reserves, lodges, beaches, hotels, and villages across the continent. Africa is in my blood.
